18 Sep A Warm Welcome to Our Newest Consultant

Following a period of significant growth in 2020, we’re delighted to welcome to the team a new consultant, Laura Kirk, whose 15-year career has spanned senior management and marketing roles in tourism, hospitality and leisure.

Her most recent role was Head of Membership for Welcome to Yorkshire, where she was responsible for managing relationships with hundreds of member businesses across the county and delivering large scale events and campaigns to promote the region.

Kate says, “Laura joins us at an exciting time of growth and brings with her a wealth of experience across a number of key sectors. Her focus on positive partnerships is absolutely key for driving even greater success in 2020 and beyond.”

In addition to managing a greater volume of work from clients, the IWP team also give back 20% of time to supporting small businesses and community projects free of charge, through workshops and 121 mentoring, via the company’s ‘Access for All’ programme.

The most recent beneficiary of this commitment is the Farm Retail Association and it’s this focus on giving back which attracted Laura to the role. She says, “I’m delighted to join Kate and the team at IWP and I’m really looking forward to using my experience to support some brilliant clients, and those smaller businesses who need help at this critical time.”
