"As a former economic & social researcher (from elsewhere in UK) I can see the opportunities which your seminar was offering.  Nor has it been tried before as far as my ten years in the city goes.  

I'm not too surprised at the council reaction. One thing I've learnt since being here is that experience and advice offered from outside Bradford is usually not welcome – 'we can do things ourselves, thank you' – seems to be the insular and myopic reaction."
