It’s all ‘Go’ on the Other Side of the World

On Sunday Richard and I took to the skies to embark on a new adventure, with a retailing client on the other side of the world, IWP would be taking their first steps into the fair country of Australia.

The bundle of joy that is jet lag was the first challenge faced, but once we won the short battle against waves of wanting to sleep at inappropriate times (my daily ‘tea fix’ certainly helped), we were wide awake and ready to get the project rolling.

I can certainly say we have thrown ourselves into the task, and that a plan is starting to take shape. With most of this week being spent in stores we have been on a ‘mini’ adventure taking to the road to drive the massive distances between locations.

The sheer distance and immense size of the towns is a real eye-opener, so different to home. However, the weather has been a nice reminder of the ‘grey’ of Yorkshire and little reminders of England keep popping up in the most unusual of places…

While you read this we’ll be turning the nightlight out on another exciting day – facing a week full of more ‘mini’ adventures and hard (but thoroughly enjoyable) work. Bring it on!

Insight with Passion Advise and Surprise Square Chapel Centre for the Arts

After helping plan an away-day for Square Chapel Centre for the Arts, Insight with Passion are delighted to hear that the team have come back refocused and rejuvenated.

The General Manager, Linda Franklin said:

“Following our staff away-day, the whole team felt invigorated and refocused from the discussion and activities given to us by Richard (IWP), who proved an inspiring leader and facilitator.  Everyone enjoyed it and any earlier doubts about having someone from outside of the organization to lead it, quickly disappeared with Richard’s experienced and informal style. It was an extremely worthwhile day and we all left with a deeper understanding of the value of our own and each other’s roles within Square Chapel.  Richard helped us focus on the bigger picture and prepared us for the challenges ahead.  We are really looking forward to the next one!”

It’s really good news that Richard was able to help the team recognise each other’s importance as it enables a team to work well together and keeps everyone happy! Insight with Passion looks forward to continuing their work with Square Chapel and also planning more team building events for other companies in the future.

Exciting Times

It’s an exciting time of development  for Insight with Passion especially for our clients. Whilst the economy only shows flickers of recovery, the IWP team are working to ensure each project delivers the maximum value.

Opportunities always exist in challenging times, its just a case of finding the right ones – and with the additional support of the experienced IWP team, we will seek them out and make them work.

As we prepare for our summer conference schedule – speaking at some of the Europe’s most prestigious industry events, we are also working with some community base projects to apply our tools and techniques to the charitable & not for profit sector.

Our partner, Kate Hardcastle, was back in her regular guest spot on BBC Radio Manchester this week, and  founder Richard Gomersall is working on another insightful article for a variety of trade publications.

Please also keep checking back on our news area to find out more about our media work – as we have some very exciting projects ahead for 2010.
