The Challenges

Compass are an IT systems consultancy and advisory business with a strong heritage, operating worldwide for over 20 years. Their main-stay work is to offer bench marking and comparative information to their clients. Compass had recently been refinanced, and was under new ownership, it was then that they felt it was the right time to refocus the senior team. IWP were told the challenge was the array of different approaches taken by the regional directors – resulting in a lack of synergy – however, with fresh eyes, IWP saw that due to the refinance and change in economy, the team had lost focus.

Recognising the Opportunity

IWP understood that the team at Compass were still driving results, and that vision needed to be realigned for the business to operate smoothly. The management team were pulled together and IWP hosted a workshop to clarify their approach and line them up for development as individuals.

The Insight with Passion Effect

IWP put together an event which redefined the strategy for the business – highlighting common strategic priorities that were relevant across the globe. Each individual was set goals and targets under those headings and alongside this, IWP defined what the expectations and requirements were for a regional director.
