May proved to be another busy month for Insight with Passion, as our experts travelled the globe to deliver advice and seminars on a variety of business topics.
Kate Hardcastle presented and advised independent travel agents at the Advantage Travel Conference in Malaga. The gathering is the largest of its kind – and agents were present to hear how to keep customers happy, put them at the heart of their business, and entice holiday makers away from the internet (as well as using it to their advantage).
As part of the work, Insight with Passion conducted thorough research on the streets of the UK, as well as interviewing travel agents and those in the industry, culminating in a short video which will play across the country.
Kate was also in Malton to present for Welcome to Yorkshire, speaking with local businesses on how they can attract customers and stand out against the bigger retailers.
The busy schedule saw us present on the key topics of putting the customer at the heart of the business, and how improving customer service can improve profits. She also advised on how your brand is influential in portraying and affecting your business, as well as how to implement a people plan across an organisation, and how everything can be tied together using retail theatre. The Arabian Business Forum also saw our Founder Kate Hardcastle grilled by the audience in a Q&A session, hosted by Andrew Neil.
Feedback from the event has been superb:
“Your approach to business was refreshing and on point”
There was also brilliant feedback for Kate after she presented at the bira High Street Conference on May 16th. The event brought together independent retailers, discussing Online vs. The High Street.
The presentation covered:
- What is best for retailers, online, offline, a mixture of both?
- How can customer service play a key role?
