Valley, a Yorkshire-based POS company who have experienced international success, realised they faced internal challenges which stopped them from reaching their full potential. An array of challenges included; internal people issues, production capacity issues and a marketing plan that didn’t fully sell the high quality of work Valley produced. Understanding they needed a fresh pair of eyes to guide them to success, Valley approached IWP.

Insight with Passion realised Valley had boundless potential, but that a lack of clarity around strategy and leadership meant the business would always struggle to reach their potential. As ‘outsiders’ IWP were able to identify that Valley’s challenges did not only lie with production, but also the day to day processes of running the business.

IWP completed a review of Valley and saw a number of interconnected problems across the business that needed addressing so that they could flourish. Individuals were allocated responsibilities and a new structure was put into place – this led to a framework for functional senior management to take ownership.
Refining the overall strategy, putting in place performance criteria, introducing financial planning and forecasting, allowed the team to address the immediate challenges and bottle necks and Valley obtained the ISO standards which had been set as the first key target.
