Kopper Kettle are a family owned boutique retailer specialising in furniture and interiors items. The challenge faced by the team was the need to set out long term plans for the business. They found it difficult to set out the milestones whilst living and breathing on a day to day basis. For them, it was important to have a plan in place, in the shortest of timescales.
Recognising the opportunity
With a strong in depth knowledge of the interiors industry, IWP ran a strategy workshop touching on all aspects of the business, including; people, branding, proposition and commercials. This objective eye helped to define what Kopper Kettle could achieve in terms of image & branding, the products that they offer and the milestones for them to achieve.
The Insight with Passion effect
IWP brought a fresh and objective perspective to business bringing a number of key benefits to the team:
An external perspective gained from dealing with similar issues within the industry and other diverse organisations.
Robust challenge of proposals and ideas, coupled with honest, constructive feedback, on the team and individuals.
Prioritise the resources of; time, people and costs to ensure the best value for money is driven out of the organisation.
By identifying a clear path for Kopper Kettle to follow, the team were able to walk away with a plan of what success looks like for them, how they could achieve it, and how to recognise their achievements once they had reached them.
