All too often bad customer service blights what should be a pleasurable experience - Insight with Passion want to change that. Our new initiative will reward businesses whose positive attitude towards their customers makes them stand out from the crowd.

We are asking every individual that visits this page to think of a time they have experienced the ultimate customer service – and nominate below that business for the accolade of 'Customer at the Heart' – we will then 'secret shop' and come to a decision.

Our Customer at the Heart winner has gained further recognition, as we secured ITV's national morning show Daybreak to film in Huddersfield.

The feature, broadcast live from Lindley, focused on owner Helen and daughter Steffi and how their store was offering products that compliments the flower range, and the lengths of service he pair goto for the customers.

When you have a passion for your business, it helps when your customers understand it – and feel great about transacting with you. Customers are time pressured, and looking for the very best value – and I have consistently found that, with a great personal touch from The Flower Shop in Huddersfield.

The team there headed by Helen and Steffi ensure their passion for flowers and lifestyle items enthuses their customers – and their delivery service 'takes the breath away" of the recipient. I think that when someone goes to the grand gesture of ordering flowers that the provider should ensure that the recipient is wowed with a beautiful arrangement – and to many florists try to 'use up' the older flowers/or unwanted items to complete the order.

Their store is a mini wonderland and their attentiveness and desire to keep furthering themselves and their displays is refreshing.

The Potting Shed Spa

The new venture at RedBrick Mills part of the Easthorpe Spa Group is a light, bright day spa with a difference. Retail theatre runs though the building with "potter" dressed therapists. The ambiance is more refreshing and uplifting than traditional spas. Best of all for me- Sunday opening. I was delighted that one of the very best (award winning) spas has always only been a short distance from me - but its traditional opening hours and (understandably) no phone policy made the commitment to time an impossibility. Potting Shed shows a real understanding of busy lives.

Additionally the incredibly friendly staff, the most intuitive and professional therapist - Faye - who has always treated me at Easthorpe and a great set of cute differences (your own retro tv when you have a pedicure to enjoy the dvd of your choice) Saw me rebook immediately.

My hearty congratulations to Faye and all the team there - carry on doing what you're doing so well.
